Spray polyurethane foam, otherwise known as SPF, is an insulating foam plastic. It is spray applied as a SEAMLESS blanket over your entire roof. SPF has a insulating (R-value) of approximately 6.88 per inch of thickness.

Urethane foam can be applied to almost any surface. The surface must be dry and clean (free of dust, dirt, and debris). Urethane foam is watertight as well as very light, so, we like to foam over your existing roof system whenever that is possible. However, if your roof is too severely damaged for a re-roof, then we will remove your existing roof and install a new roof system straight to the deck surface.

In order to re-roof over your existing roof, we will first clean your roof of all dust, dirt and debris. We look for any blisters or delaminations and cut them out or nail them down. We always put on new metal flashings where it is needed. After the new flashings are installed, we spray apply the urethane foam to the desired thickness, adding foam to any low areas to ensure proper water drainage. Next, we spray apply elastomeric coating to the entire roof surface. Lastly, we inspect the project and make sure that the surrounding grounds are as clean or cleaner then when we first arrived.
